Jenny Lorenzo is a Cuban-American actor, writer and content creator, born and raised in Miami, who is known for her work on We Are Mitú and is one of the original co-founders of BuzzFeed's Pero Like.

 Jenny gained widespread recognition for her viral Cuban Abuela character, amassing millions of online views. Her relatable content, rooted in the experiences of a first-generation Cuban-American, reflects humor and nostalgia, embodying the hyphenated identity. 

She has received accolades, including the Tecla Award for Best Fictional Character and Creator of the Year, and the NALIP Trailblazer award for her contributions to Pero Like in 2019. 

Jenny earned a nomination for Best Voice Actor at the 2023 Imagen Awards for her role as Abuelita Gomez in Disney’s Hamster and Gretel.

Jenny has lent her voice to recurring characters in HBOMax's Jellystone, Cartoon Network’s Victor and Valentino and Netflix Jr's Sharkdog, and made a guest star appearance on Nickelodeon’s Rugrats. Beyond acting, she has hosted What's Up, Disney+ on the official Disney+ YouTube channel and served as a special guest host on Nerdist News. Since 2018, she has collaborated with prominent brands like Snicker's, Carvana, Always, Disney, Netflix, Target, DiGiorno, Totino's, Frito Lay, Chevy, Google Pixel and many more.

Presently, Jenny is the Spanish-language spokeswoman for the latest Rocket Mortgage national commercial campaign, co-hosts the Hyphenated podcast with Venezuelan comedian Joanna Hausmann and is a member of the Upright Citizen’s Brigade’s Betty team, their official monthly character showcase.
