Jenny Lorenzo is an award-winning Cuban-American actor, writer, comedian, voice actor, producer, and digital creator born and raised in Miami and based in Los Angeles.

Jenny is the creator of Abuela’s Family, her beloved digital comedy universe featuring characters inspired by her Cuban-American upbringing—including Abuela, Maruchi, Laritza, Flor, Michi, Tía Gloria, and more. Her culturally specific sketches have built a multigenerational audience of more than 1.4 million followers and fans across social platforms. Her work can be seen on LatiNation through Jenny Lorenzo Presents and on Creator Television through Latinos Be Like.

Before launching her independent platform, Jenny helped co-found BuzzFeed’s Pero Like and created content for We Are Mitú. She later spent three years co-hosting What’s Up, Disney+ alongside Andre Meadows.

As a voice actor, Jenny’s credits include Disney’s Hamster & Gretel, Cartoon Network’s Victor and Valentino, Max’s Jellystone!, and Nickelodeon’s Sharkdog, Rugrats, Max & the Midknights, and Dora the Explorer. Her performance as Abuelita Gómez in Hamster & Gretel earned her an Imagen Award nomination.

Jenny has received multiple Tecla Awards and was honored as a NALIP Latino Media Fest Trailblazer. Her original short film, Why Am I Like This?, premiered at LALIFF and received the Best Editing award at Venice Shorts.

Through her characters, acting, writing, and brand collaborations, Jenny continues to create comedy that celebrates the wonderfully specific—and universally relatable—experiences of Latino families.
